On June 12 the Winnipeg Blue Bombers opened the new Investor’s Group Stadium with their opening game against the Toronto Argonauts. This long awaited day was a big one for the city and for the choir.
At 7:00 pm the choir marched out onto the brand new field and proudly sang O Canada before this memorable occasion. This will be a wonderful memory for all.
Unfortunately a local area black out meant that Winnipeg TV stations did not show the game in the city but it was broadcast Nationwide and radio stations still carried the broadcast.
