We’ve had a wonderful start to the 2013-2014 Season. The year began with 20 singers and two more have joined us in January. Welcome to all our new singers, we are glad to have you with us. Everyone has fit right in and we are making beautiful music together.
Our fall events included two services (German and English) at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, a Christmas candle-light worship at Bethania Care Home and four performances at the Nutcracker, including three Piano Nobile presentations prior to the ballet.
The choir has continued to sponsor a boy in Peru through World Vision and enjoys hearing about his progress. The beginning of the New Year has us preparing the choir and some individuals and duets for the Winnipeg Music Festival held in February and March of 2014. Best wishes of the New Year to all as we continue to praise God through the voices of children.
