In May 2014, Sony International is set to release the feature movie Heaven is for Real, based on the novel by Lynn Vincent and Todd Burpo of the same name. Heaven is for Real is a true story in which a boy recounts tales from his visit to heaven after recovering from an emergency operation where he temporarily died.
In June 2013, The Winnipeg Children’s Choir recorded “Jesus Loves the Little Children” to be used in the film. In addition, Some of our choristers were chosen by the casting department to be included in the filming as well.
This was an exciting and very interesting experience, those involved saw first-hand some aspects of how movies are shot. We are all looking forward to the release of the movie to see the final outcome.
