Open Rehearsals for Interested New Choristers
To Praise God through the Voices of Children
Come out to one or both!
May 22 & 29, 2018
6 – 8 p.m.
North Kildonan Mennonite Church
1131 Roch Street, North Kildonan
The Winnipeg Children’s Choir was formed in 2008 to continue the work of its predecessor, The Winnipeg Mennonite Children’s Choir. Judy Neufeld Urbonas, former chorister, alumnus and Assistant Director to WMCC’s Founder, Helen Litz, is joined by Kimberly Lind, Assistant Director and Arlene Neufeld, Accompanist, to provide a unique music-making experience to children aged 8-18.
The choir is holding open rehearsal three Tuesdays in May to allow interested singers to attend any or all three to see for themselves what a rehearsal entails, by joining the choristers and taking part in the experience. Parents who wish to are welcome to sit in the back of the room and watch the experience.
We are looking for more choristers who:
- Love to sing
- Are committed to attendance, participation and willingness to learn challenging music
- Have parents who support our mission
